601 have been making some serious waves this year, especially in the 140 jungly sound which they are feeling. With their awesome 'White Off' EP and remix of Lethalness for Ape, a simply MASSIVE Ep on Aquasky's legendary Passenger imprint plus more yummy treats still to come the 601 bays are clearly on a misson.
We at Ape Towers are very pleased to present the first part of a series of releases by 601 called 'Baddies'.
For your pleasure here is Part 1.
First up is 'Can't Take It' which put simply has been the highlight of many a DJ set for the early part of this year. It's a whopping great big behemoth of a 140 jungle badboy of a tune.
Starting with an epic Reese bass intro, glitchy freaky female vocals build the old pant wetting suspense till you quite literally 'Cant Take it anymore' and drops into mad massive jungly drums, 808s and subdrops that will make you spill your guts. This is pure dancefloor action and no mistake.
Next up is a AA side of the highest calibre! No B side fillers round here I'll have you know.
Whoop! does exactly what the title suggests. It's a no messing party killer packed full of juicy old skool garage pops and gnarly basslines rude enough to make anyone blush.
